Ghostwriter Notes has an iPen feature now. I can now use the stylus to write down freely to the app I bought via http://majorspot.com

great job at reviewing all those apps. I have myself more than 30 on my iPad.
you might want to have a look at Beesy, http://www.beesapps.com/bee..., interesting way to address the problem of business meeting notes.
Interesting as well to generate automatic To-Do from your notes and follow-up on them.
I'll try index Card, i never heard of it before. Thanks for the tip.

Charlie, I have Seesmic on my Kindle Fire and can't find a mute feature. It may have them on regular Android phones.

A little late here, but any idea if Seesmic has the muting function? I can't find a full list of features for this app. Twicca looks good though, I get my android tomorrow so I'll probably try that out first. Thanks for the list!

I couldn't agree more, although I can understand that Air uses more battery power than iPad.
Even though you can buy a 'tethering plan' from some operators (e.g. AT&T) and use your iPhone as a bluetooth modem (that's what tethering option in iPhone is for) not all operators offer them, and they usually cost a lot more than you're ready to spend monthly.

I have the plugBug. Its cool, but I was thinking more of when outlets weren't available. I would like a longer battery life in those instances. Thanks for commenting Augusto.

I see the 3G option, even that f the use it's not constant I will most likely consider the Thether option on my iPhone, since most likely it's not going to be more expensive than an MBA plan but can be used for the iPad and the MBA.

Regarding the power cords, are you amiliar with the PlugBug (http://twelvesouth.com/prod... that will be a cool thing to carry in the bag, that will solve the charging issue in a nice way.

I have spent 35 years at D-A, that is not quite half my life, but that is many years driving to 29th Street. Good bye D-A and thank you for the memories, good and bad. I am ready to start my new "work" adventure, scary but exciting.

Hi Gretchen,

It is funny how things happen. I have recently been thinking about the journaling process also. I had even bought a different iPad only app for it but had never really stuck at it.

I started checking the app store again to see what new and recommended and came across Day One. It is great to read your perspective on it and that you find it very useful being across all devices. It's simplicity is very appealing and inviting. happy journaling.

Beautifully written, Gretchen! We all get so caught up in our own wants and needs that we forget what's really important sometimes- and what's important isn't up to us to decide. I will be praying for that little boy (and for others I know who are battling caner).

I like it except for the blackboard background. If that was plain black it would be better, but I think it is distracting.

Thanks Augusto. I'm writing because I like to write and feel I have something to say, even it its just for me. Once I started thinking about it, I remembered people who have told me a post has helped them. Its been good to think through things. I feel better about where the blog is going to go. Even if its never a hit, I'll continue writing. Thank you for your support.

Also, I bought a copy of The Writer to give to a friend of M0m's who was anxious to read it. Mom thinks its cool we know a real writer. ;-)

Thanks Tara. I'll hang in there and have patience. I enjoy writing and am going to continue the blog. I have to be realistic but I did need to think about what I want the blog to be. I feel I have a better idea now.
